Charla Belinski is the author of the weekly feature, "Are We There
Yet?" which shares her common-sense style and humorous world
view on raising happy, healthy kids.
A certified parenting instructor, Charla’s real advice comes from
lessons learned on the front-lines of her own living room. As a wife
of 19 years and mother of three school-aged children, her
observations and advice on family-life are meant to encourage,
engage and make us laugh in the face of the toughest job on the
planet – parenting. Charla’s experience in television news and as a
promotions and communications writer makes her style direct and
user-friendly.
Her columns appear weekly in the Glenwood (Colorado) Post
Independent and she contributes frequently to the Denver Post. Her
columns have also been featured in Mountain Parent magazine,
Aspen Times and a variety of online publications. She is a 2008
Colorado Press Women's Association award winner for general
columnists, a past winner of the Humor Press Writers’ Contest and
has recently completed her first novel.
Charla serves on the Aspen School District Board of Education,
and on a number of community Boards.
Charla lives with her husband and three children near Aspen,
Colorado.
